HESC proudly manages the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP), the nation’s largest state grant, which helps eligible state residents pay tuition at approved schools in the Empire State.

TAP processing can be accessed at your fingertips at HESC.org. You can use HESC’s online options to process:

• TAP Award Calculator
• Change transactions
• Student record maintenance
• Certification, reports and forms
• Payments

The online FAFSA links directly to our TAP online application, vastly simplifying and expediting the process for students. In fact, students can now use a single online session to apply for both federal- and state-based financial aid, eliminating phone calls to your office and reducing errors on applications.

With a HESC PIN students can complete their online TAP application at any time.
