New York Student Financial Aid, developed and maintained by HESC, is now on Facebook^�. Our goal is to provide another avenue for communicating important financial aid information to New York’s students, families and school counselors.

Statistics show that Facebook^� attracts more than three million active users each day. While teens make up twelve percent of the active users (1.1 million in New York State), the fastest growing demographic are those over 35 (2.2 million in New York) – many of whom are the parents of middle and high school students.

The New York Student Financial Aid page on Facebook^� will provide regular financial aid information for high school, college students and their families covering various topics based on a calendar schedule, as well as provide a forum for questions and answers on basic college financial aid. Those with specific, personal information requests will be asked to contact HESC customer service representatives for private, personalized responses.
