Creating, Submitting and Certifying Aid for Part-time Study (APTS) Recipient Lists for the 2009-10 Academic Year
The 2009-10 Aid for Part-time Study (APTS) processing year has begun and with it APTS Recipient Lists for the 2009-10 academic year must be created and submitted. This may be done on HESCWeb by the APTS contact at your school by following the steps outlined below to:
- Create an initial APTS Recipient List
- Submit any changes needed
- Certify the Roster for each term.
Step 1: Go to the
Transaction Center, click
Transaction Processing, and log on to
Grants and Scholarships. Click on the
Student tab and then on
Create Initial APTS Recipient. Enter student data for each APTS recipient. The entire list is complete when all recipients for the term have been entered into the Initial Recipient List.
Step 2: Go to
Transmit Initial APTS Recipients to submit created list.
A word of caution: Creating the Initial APTS Recipient List alone is not sufficient. The list must be transmitted for processing.
Step 3: Once the Initial APTS Recipient List has been processed and a Roster of Recipients has been created, make any necessary revisions to the Roster by visiting
View/Update APTS Transactions.
Step 4: To certify the Roster of Recipients click on
View/Update APTS Transactions.
All transactions must be submitted within 45 days of the term end date. Each student must be certified using the cumulative passing average for the term as the basis of the certification.
