In the 2010-2011 academic year, CACG-funded programs served more than 47,000 New York State resident students and families. Previous recipients of CACG sub-grant awards and their projects are described on the HESC website.

In addition, HESC is partnering with the State University of New York (SUNY), the City University of New York (CUNY), the New York State Department of Education (SED), and the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities (CICU) to deliver much needed services to CACG-qualified students and adults across the State of New York.

In addition, to achieve its CACG objectives, HESC will also continue to coordinate with other New York State agencies and non-profit organizations – such as the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS), New York State Department of Correctional Services (DOCS), the Lumina Foundation for Education and YMCA (College Goal Sunday).
