Second Annual Loan Symposium a Success

More than 220 participants were on hand for the second annual HESC Loan Symposium on September 21 and 22 in Saratoga Springs.

Participants networked with colleagues and attended educational sessions featuring a variety of speakers from the Department of Education, the school and lending communities, and HESC. These sessions addressed student loan topics such as managing lender relationships, on-line counseling, planning with HESC’s Overture, tips to help borrowers, and effectively communicating with students.

Planning is already underway for HESC's third annual Loan Symposium in 2007.
