  • Call the HESC Customer Communication Center at 1-866-431-HESC (1-866-431-4372).
  • Select Number 1 for a menu of options in English.

Press Number 0 if you know the 5-digit extension of the person you are calling.
Press Number 1 for the Student Account Status, Processing, Information and related services
  • Press "1" - Student account status using the automated system
  • Press "2" - For information on a student loan account
  • Press "3" - For information on a TAP account
  • Press "8" - To repeat choices
  • Press "9" - To return to the main menu
Press Number 2 to reset your password or speak to the Help Desk
Press Number 3 for school processing technical services or the Priority Services team
Press Number 4 for TAP policy and processing or scholarship questions
Press Number 5 for file transfer questions and the Data Exchange Team
Press Number 6 for Loan Program Policy or Federal Regulations
At any time during the call you may:
