HESC is pleased to announce the launch of an improved new data exchange system. During the week of March 23, 2009, HESC will migrate all inbound file exchanges (FTP, email and Web File Transfer) to the new system.

We anticipate that no changes will be required by schools, lenders, servicers and other partners as a result of this implementation. However, should you not receive your expected notification or return file within 24 hours, you should contact our Data Exchange Team. HESC EFT Express schools are welcome to contact the Data Exchange Team the morning your file has been transmitted to confirm receipt.

The new data exchange system will launch several new features on April 15, 2009 to make the exchange of files easier. Contact HESC Data Exchange Team if you are interested in:

  • Sending outbound files to multiple locations
  • Custom file naming
  • Multiple encryption keys

In the coming months, HESC will also launch an enhanced version of our Web File Transfer application featuring several productivity and usability improvements. To take advantage of the new features, you must use either Internet Explorer Version 7 or Firefox Version 3. New features include:
  • Single ID can support multiple campuses
  • Selecting multiple files to upload or download
  • Enhanced progress bar to show status of file being uploaded or downloaded
  • Advanced file search capabilities
