Preliminary 2010-11 Student Status Listing for TAP and Scholarship Awards

A preliminary 2010-11 Student Status Listing will be available on January 27, 2010. The award figures are preliminary because the New York State Budget has not yet been enacted, therefore, actual TAP and scholarship award amounts cannot be calculated.

For students who meet current eligibility criteria, a series of ones (1111.11) and twos (2222.22) will be listed on the preliminary Status Listing. To avoid the inadvertent posting of these preliminary TAP and scholarship award figures, the header of the Student Status Listing includes the word “PRELIM” in positions 47-52. These fields will not contain any data once actual awards are calculated and included on the Status Listing, and will continue to be designated as “filler” on the record layouts. The award fields will be updated with the student’s actual TAP and Scholarship awards after the award schedules for 2010-2011 are finalized in the State budget.
