New Trading Partner Interface for Web File Transfer
In our ongoing effort to upgrade and enhance our data exchange systems and services, the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) is pleased to unveil an updated Web File Transfer (WFT) system featuring a reengineered and more intuitive user interface. HESC will launch the new system on May 10, 2010.
Along with the new user interface, the new WFT system includes features such as:
- Ability to upload multiple files simultaneously
- Single USERID mapping to multiple institution codes
- Intuitive, easy to find features for file handling and password maintenance
- Increased maximum file size of 50MB for uploaded files
- Several new file search features
- Better download status and notification features
- Improved transformation feature to save/download files to Excel (.xls) and Text (.txt) file formats
- Quick link to the stand-alone Test Web File Transfer system
- Enhanced security

Separately, HESC has enhanced the Data Exchange Notifications feature in its Transaction Processing application, allowing our business partners to more easily manage e-mail notifications about their data files.
