What are the new eligibility requirements for institutions that are TAP eligible but not Title IV eligible?

Institutions currently eligible for TAP will have several years to obtain Title IV approval before losing TAP eligibility. Schools currently approved for TAP will lose TAP eligibility if their approval for Title IV participation is revoked by the U.S. Department of Education. Schools that are not approved for TAP participation at the start of the 2007-08 academic year must be Title IV eligible to participate in the TAP program.

Will students that are currently attending institutions that are eligible for TAP but not Title IV eligible lose TAP eligibility?

No, students currently attending institutions that are TAP eligible but not Title IV eligible will be "grandfathered". As such, no current student will lose eligibility.
