2012-13 Enacted New York State Budget Update
New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC)
The enacted 2012-13 New York State Budget makes no changes to the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) or any other grant, scholarship or loan forgiveness program administered by HESC.
Accordingly, actual estimated awards will be available for viewing to students and schools on April 10, 2012. All awards are estimated until income is verified with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance. The first post-budget Student Status listings: Student Status Listing (Full) HE 8392, Student Status Listing (Abbrev) HE 8304, Student Status Listing (Comprehensive) HE 8592, with actual estimated awards, will be produced on April 13, 2012.
The SUNY/CUNY Tuition Credit Report (HE 3035) will be created for 2012-13 on April 13, 2012. Be advised that a new record layout for the HE 3035 will be used for all 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic year files effective April 13, 2012. This new format adds an academic year and positions for summer term information. The layout is available at HESC.org under Transaction Processing, Forms and Bulletins.
