HESC Student Loan Marketplace provides students and parents with an easier way to learn about and compare multiple private loans.

Marketplace Benefits

With HESC Student Loan Marketplace, participating lenders' products are clearly presented, allowing borrowers to quickly and easily evaluate their alternative loan options.

Marketplace provides alternative loan comparisons and reliable loan terms with just one credit check.

In addition, Marketplace was specifically designed as an open network to ensure transparency of lender information and to assist schools in complying with New York State's Student Loan Accountability, Transparency and Enforcement (SLATE) Act of 2007.
