Are You Ready for FAFSA?

More families are applying for federal financial aid than ever before and HESC has the tools to help you assist students and families as they apply for college aid.

To help families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid – the FAFSA – HESC has prepared a series of video podcasts offering step-by-step instructions to guide families in completing the application.

The podcasts are narrated by Heather McDonnell, financial aid director at Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, and former president of NYSFAAA, the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association. The podcasts are presented as a series that compliment the FAFSA sections and feature simple explanations of questions encountered on the form. Listeners may follow the entire series from start to finish, or listen only to desired sections.
