CUNY Goals and Objectives For 2009-2010
    • Arrange CUNY Campus Visits
    • Offer resources and information about CUNY colleges, such as: availability of campus housing; tuition costs; open house events; information on majors and degrees, average freshman profile
    • Arrange for Westchester and Long Island school counselors to attend specialized visits to CUNY campuses
    • Arrange for high achieving students of NYGEAR Up projects to attend an event at CUNY Honors College, which offers free tuition to accepted students, among other benefits
    • CUNY Family Outreach Coordinator will develop a Family Outreach Plan with selected NYGEAR UP sites, and follow-up as needed
    • Technical assistance on any parent outreach effort
    • CUNY Sector will distribute four annual parent outreach newsletters, which project sites can tailor to their individual needs
    • CUNY Sector will offer a workshop at the downstate PDW (Professional Development Workshop), topics will be based on previous year's feedback
