HESC Organizes New School Advisory Team

HESC's core values reflect the importance we place on our customers’ thoughts, ideas and feedback. Since customer input is the only way to be certain that HESC is answering their needs, we appreciate hearing from our customers regularly. However, information from our customers’ calls to us answers only part of our need for feedback.


In our push to improve our customer service, we’ve added a new facet to our effort to collect customer feedback; we’ve established a School Advisory Team, made up of financial aid professionals from throughout the state.

This team will assist HESC by providing feedback on existing products and services, as well as providing assistance with and generating ideas for future services that will benefit schools and students.

Participants are asked to meet at least twice a year, in person or via Web cast. The inaugural meeting of the School Advisory Team is scheduled for May 9 in Albany.

Members of the School Advisory Team have been asked to serve a two or three year term. We appreciate the commitment of those that have agreed to serve on the team.
