Financial Aid Programs for Graduate Study in New York State

There are many student financial aid programs available for graduate study in New York State. For most of the programs administered by the Federal or State Government you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) first so that financial need is established. It is important that you check with the administrator of the financial aid program along with the financial aid office of your school to make sure you adhere to admissions and financial aid deadlines.

Financial aid is available from other sources too, such as colleges, corporations, unions, professional associates, community organizations, and private lenders. This information may be obtained from college financial aid administrators, public libraries and the internet.
