September in Saratoga

Although it is commonly called "the August place to be," Saratoga Springs is definitely the September place to be for student loan issues. The Annual HESC Loan Symposium attracted more than 200 financial aid professionals from schools and lenders/servicers to this beautiful Victorian city.

There were in-depth presentations by nationally recognized leaders in the student loan industry on topics suggested by college administrators and lenders. These presentations often led to lively discussion and debate. Based on feedback from attendees, the symposium was a winner.

We’re already planning for next September.

More Programs from October through December

HESC is on the move – presenting at multiple conferences throughout the fall and early winter.

In October, HESC was pleased to attend the NYSFAAA annual meeting, offering several well-attended training sessions as well as a general session HESC Update. It is always nice to see friends – both old and new.

Also in October, HESC conducted administrative training sessions in Puerto Rico. HESC will be back in Puerto Rico in December for the annual PRASFAA convention.

And in December HESC will hold its annual administrative workshops.

As in the past, these workshops will cover topics that are both timely and of the greatest interest to college administrators. HESC conducts these sessions at locations throughout New York.
